ok, after a few changes, especially about which band at what day, we are almost done with the lineup… so there is 3 more bands now: Strafplanet, Discure and Sickmark.

there is still the possibility that one more band will confirm, otherwise is this the final line up for this years abc benefit festival. we are happy and excited that so many great bands decided to support our festival:

ok, lets start with some bad news: LANDVERRAAD cant make it this year and also HUMAN HOST BODY had to cancel…

but we can confirm two more awesome bands: GATTACA and AVVIKA from Praha…

we are basically only waiting for two more confirmations and then the final lineup should be done…

as said in the last post we will do the Festival again, at the last weekend in april 2014. it will be again in the ekh with workshops, distros, bands, action, vegan food, dj_anes, book tables and more.
the booking for the 2014 Anarchist Black Cross Vienna Solidarity festival started already a few months ago and we are happy to announce the first bands(the days are not fixed with all the bands). some of the bands played already last year, but we honestly dont care. we want(ed) to invite great bands with great people in it, and we think we have done a good job so far… (edited: and in the second we posted this we got more confirmations!)

ok, now it is months later but we still wanted to leave a comment about the festival!
it was a blast! we had lots of fun, amazing bands, interesting workshops and discussions, wonderful vegan food, lots of old and new friends…
of course there were some problems but in general it was a full success and left us with a nice feeling about what we did, what we tried to do…
putting up a nice diy punk/hc festival in solidarity with people in prison.
a big thanks to everyone who was in any way involved in this festival. it would not have been possible without you!

and we decided we want to do it again! we started with the booking for next year and the date will be the 24th till 27th of april 2014. more infos soon…

there are still prisons. there are still people in prison who need our support. we are still living in a fucked up prison society… and there is still people fighting against this shit and trying to change something.

NO ONE FORGOTTEN! NOTHING FORGIVEN!

timetables fixed and the english program is online… only a few days to go…

ok, somehow we should have known more things will change… but this time to the good! there is another band playing on thursday. Caino from Palermo. check them out in the program section…

and there will also be an info speech about anarchist antiprison struggles and prisoner support in south italy on thursday at 6 p.m.

and the hofbar will open on thursday for the first time in this season.

programs are more or less done, and the english version should be done by tomorrow!

so, i guess this will be the last update…

first the bad news: ashkara had to cancel their tour and all their shows, so they wont play the abc fest this year.
all the workshops and the whole program is more or less fixed with minor things missing. (the english version will come in the next days!)

so they only thing left? people have to come and enjoy and participate in the festival!
if you want to do spontaneus info speeches or workshops at the festival it is of course possible, but it is easier for us if you write us first about it.

if you come in bigger groups etc. please drop a line so we can calculate the sleeping spaces!
and we cant say it often enough please dont bring your dogs, there will be no possibility where you could leave them while the shows(and you cant bring them to the shows) and there will be big common sleeping spaces…

we are really looking forward to it and want to say thank you in advance to all the people making this possible, all the band who will play and everyone who will participate in this festival!
