Der 21. Mai 2008 begann mit einem gewaltigen Polizeieinsatz. Ziel waren TierrechtsaktivistInnen in ganz Österreich, die sich für die Rechte von Tieren eingesetzt und eine Kampagne gegen den Verkauf von Pelz gestartet hatten. Die Causa wuchs sich in den darauffolgenden Monaten und Jahren zur kafkaesken Justizgroteske aus, in deren Fokus eine ominöse kriminelle Organisation stand. Am Spiel stand somit mehr als die Schuld oder Unschuld der 13 Angeklagten. Vielmehr versuchte die Staatsanwaltschaft mittels „Mafiaparagraf“ (Paragraf 278a) zivilgesellschaftliches Engagement zu kriminalisieren.

Die Dokumentation „WIR SIND ALLE §278A“ portraitiert fünf politisch aktive Menschen, die sich den Einschüchterungsversuchen eines repressiven Staates entschlossen entgegenstellen. Dabei geht es um nicht weniger als die Verteidigung politischer Freiheiten gegenüber Geschäftsinteressen und Profit.

ok, the program is more or less done. just one workshop on thursday is not fixed.

unfortunately 3 bands cancelled last minute. blighter, down on knees i am weak and strafplanet wont make it to the festival this year. with ROST we found a good replacement on thursday!

we are sorry about this but we are still really looking forward to the festival!

finally we can announce two of the workshops that will happen on the festival. there will be a workshop about the situation of women-prisoners in polish detention centers and about the situation croatian detention-centers.
check the program section for further details.

unfortunately we had and have to deal with last minute cancellations of some of the workshops. it is important for us that we dont only do a music festival but also have some content in it, so this really sucks.
if you want to do a last minute workshop about something related to anti-prison struggles or know somebody who wants to, please get in contact!
